INDRET.DK 2010/11 has been published

A recurring feature of the projects we show in INDRET.DK book is that there is a focus on people and diversity - the tasks have been solved differently, based on careful analysis of the specific requirements and needs that each client has had. What works well in one project can not be readily transferred to the next, and it is pretty clear, for example. Signal Architects solution for KEA and Insurance Association, and MTRE's solution for Ramboll and SEB bank. These are good examples of how one should build on the diversity in the individual client, and let it unfold. We have chosen to call, The Living Office.

Another issue we are also showing great interest in INDRET.DK 2010/11 is acoustics. And it is closely connected with the thesis of The Living Office. Noise is a very big problem in modern office design, dominated by large office spaces, but fortunately, both builders, architects and manufacturers become aware of the problems with poor acoustic conditions must be taken seriously and combated effectively. It is extremely important to consider the acoustic conditions as early as possible in a task and it has indeed complied with the vast majority of the projects that we show in this book.

But there is also a third thing that shows itself in these years and it is the design of furniture and furniture for the office décor. Here are concepts such as touch-down, video conferencing, cafe areas, informal meeting areas entered the field, which blurs the internal hireakiske boundaries in an enterprise, and thus adds a dynamic that has not been seen before. It is a very exciting development that simultaneously inspires - or forcing - furniture manufacturers to develop new, multi-functional types of furniture to be up to speed.
